Moon Chair

The origin piece: a chair folded from sheet metal into the phase of a moon. Its mirror surfaces and internal light turn the seat into a reflective body in the room.

Context

A chair as a lunar object.

Moon Chair established the studio's language: exposed construction, mirror-like skin, integrated light and an object that changes with the room around it. It is not a console, but it sets the tone for the console collection that followed.

The work is included here so visitors can understand the practice beyond the commercial DJ pieces.
