Tri Cular
A console you stand inside — a crescent of forty-eight triangulated facets in powder-coated steel, each one a window with light behind it.
The rail names whose night this isBuilt proof
Real fabrication and installation views from the studio archive.
Flat parts on the shop floor
Before the red - the shell in bare metal
Everything else goes dark. The geometry does not.
A can on the deck sets the scale
Weight and date stamped on the block behind
The side only the DJ ever sees
Forty-eight facets, and daylight through every one
Before the colour, the geometry already stands
Waiting on the riser, before the doors open
Front of house, the whole crescent in one look
Up close, the skin turns to plates and light
One lamp awake behind the smoked glass
The rail says whose night this is
Before the switch - the geometry speaks first
Straight on, unlit - forty-eight facets and every bolt
The body disappears and the light remains
The performer takes his place inside the crescent
Head down, hands working, the console holding the room
Close enough to count the glowing triangles
The performer takes the centre of the room
The side only the DJ ever sees
Wiring taped down, light coming through anyway
Last bottles carried past the glow
Empty deck, every facet awake
The crescent entire, holding its own light
Red on the deck, the crescent awake
The room clears and it holds the floor
Turn the room down and only the light remains
Forty-eight facets, one continuous red
The palette breaks open
Straight on, every facet choosing its own colourSpecifications
Fabrication
Laser cutting
Every panel starts flat — cut from the fabrication model’s own files in aluminum, stainless or copper.
Press-brake bending
The aluminum frame folds to shape on a press brake; every angle lives in the model.
Bolted, never glued
Every panel is serviceable and the bolts are the ornament — fitted by hole size across the piece.
LED under the skin
A 3 mm frosted acrylic layer sits beneath the cladding; the seams take the light.
Two ways to own it
Fully assembled
The finished piece — checked, packed, delivered ready.
DIY kit
Precision-cut, pre-finished parts, hardware and clear instructions — assembles IKEA-style, studio-supported. Tools not included unless noted.
